September provided a great opportunity for our Architect, Luke, to partake in the 2018, Culture, Learning & Design tour throughout Europe. This tour provided not only great insight through school/university visits but also the informal discussions between which lead to many long and insightful discussions around the difference in context between what we were visiting and the environment in Australia. These discussions were aided by the vast range of tour members, from Architects, to School Principals and Diocesan staff all providing a different take on their experience.
The tour visited 5 countries over a 2 week period, including 14 schools, 7 universities and a number of public facilities. Buildings ranged from complete new universities through to small interior modifications of existing junior school campuses.
